Jana Kramer is a country musician, actor and singer who became a household name in the world of television after she was hired as Alex in One Tree Hill for the final three seasons. In the series' episodes the singer was seen performing her debut album of country music. Her debut album, called "Jana" made it to the Billboard 200 top 20 in 2012. Thirty One by 2015 was followed by Thirty One in 2015 and hit the top ten spot. The singer ended the decade with appearances in Dancing with the Stars and on several television shows, as well as a series of non-album singles. In 2021, The Self-doubting Voices was released. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised in the area by her parents Jana Rae and David Kramer discovered a love for country music when she was young. Later she would pursue recording but her career began acting in 2002 with the indie horror film Dead/Undead while she was still in her teens. Following a couple of guest appearances in All My Children and CSI: NY, she landed the role of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the second season 2007,-2008. Kramer played in 90210 on 90210 as Portia Randson between 2008 and 2009, and Brooke Manning as Entourage's Brooke Manning before appearing on One Tree Hill on the CW as Alex Dupre. Her contract was signed to Elektra Records during this time and released the country-rock song "I Won't Go Down" during an episode. The track later appeared in her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. It made it to in the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. She continued to act in movies like Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would be appealing to her fanbase. The second album of Kramer's Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15, 2015. Her album, Thirty One Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy as well as the duo track that Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed in the album helped it be ranked at number 3 in the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the chart for country albums. In September of 2016, her time in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months and ended with a 4th place finish. It was also the year when she had a major adult contemporary success, with the song "Feel Just Like" Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
